"What started out as a surprise photoshoot for my boyfriend turned into (both to my surprise and Tanner's) a proposal photoshoot. Tanner pivoted quickly and seamlessly, prepared to capture this moment, even without much warning or preparation. She made us feel comfortable, celebrated, and special as she shared an absolute whirlwind of emotions with us.
As a result, she was the natural candidate to capture our elopement a few months later. While this was a super intimate ceremony (with just the two of us and a justice of the peace), Tanner could not have been a more welcome addition to that whole process. She cried with us, she laughed with us, and she captured the intimacy, the joy, and the romance in a way that I will always look back on with incredible gratitude.
